
I used to worry about saying “no” constantly. I’d worry about what other people would think of me, and how my saying no would make them feel.
What I learned was that – at least with the people that I love – none of them thought less of me for saying no. Because they knew that, if I could, I’d say yes.
Saying no to what doesn’t feel right creates space to say yes to what does.
